Clearpoint Vision provides innovative eye care services to patients from in and around Houston. We offer comprehensive eye health assessments, ocular disease diagnosis and treatment, contact lens evaluation and fitting, and prescriptions.

Dr. Nguyen is an Optometrist in Houston providing complete eye care services for the surrounding communities. Dr. Long Nguyen was born and raised in Southeast Houston. He graduated Doctor of Optometry from the University of Houston College of Optometry in 2003. He graduated cum laude with a Bachelors in Science in Biology at the University of Houston in 1999. He also graduated top ten in his class at J. Frank Dobie High School in 1995.
As a licensed optometrist, Dr. Nguyen provides exams, diagnoses, and treatments of all disorders that affect the eye or vision. In addition to training in eye diseases and disorders, Dr. Nguyen is also trained in anatomy, biochemistry, and physiology. With this background, Dr. Nguyen is trained to recognize a range of health issues; such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetes and hypertension.
Dr. Nguyen works hard to stay current on the latest advances in eye health and vision care and regularly attends continuing education seminars and advanced training courses. It is because of Dr. Nguyen's dedication to continuing education that our Houston patients receive the most modern and progressive vision care available.
In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with family, playing tennis, and salt water fishing with friends.

Dr. Ovutmen received her doctor of optometry degree in 2018 from The Ohio State University College of Optometry, where she gained extensive experience in primary care, diabetes, contact lens fittings, and ocular disease. Her externships included rotations through the Cincinnati VA as well as specialized ophthalmology practices with a focus on retinal disease and glaucoma.
Dr. Ovutmen completed her Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry at Earlham College in Indiana, and went to Awty International School in Houston, where she received her International Baccalaureate degree. Her hobbies include learning new languages, reading, painting, film, classical guitar, studying art and literature.
Dr. Morrow received his Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Houston College of Optometry in 1990 and has practiced in the Houston Clear Lake-Pasadena area since 1992. He graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 1986. At San Jacinto College, he was class valedictorian.
While working for the Lions Eye Bank of Texas, Dr. Morrow obtained more than 2,500 corneas for transplant and was a lecturer at the Pan American Association of Eye Banks in Bogota, Colombia on the Biomicroscopic Evaluation of Corneal Tissue for Transplant. He served on the Doctors’ National Advisory Board for Walmart Vision Centers and has been published in the Journal of the American Optometric Association.
Dr. Morrow is married to Dr. Catherine Brooks and has two children, Jeanne and John.
